Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a low-key version would also go with everything.
